Spindle speed n (RPM)= Vc × 1000 / (π × D)
Feed rate Vf (mm/min)= n × f
MRR Q (cm³/min)= Vf × π × D² / 4000
Machining time T (min)= L / Vf
💡 Depth correction: speed is multiplied by the L/D speed factor (Klv) and feed by the feed factor (Klf). Example: at 30D, Klv = 0.35 and Klf = 0.30 — a 120 m/min base speed runs at ~42 m/min and feed is cut to 30%. See the full depth-correction table in the Feeds & Speeds guide.
