All World Machinery supplies the SpindleShot high-pressure coolant system for deep hole drilling, delivering up to ~1,000 psi (≈70 bar) at the tool with cyclonic self-cleaning filtration.
View profile →ATS Systems makes the CoolJet UltraFlex and CoolJet TL high-pressure coolant systems delivering 300–3,000 psi (20–210 bar) with 10 µm quick-change filtration.
View profile →Huangshan Aike supplies spindle center-outlet coolant systems for deep hole drilling — 30–150 bar, 20–180 L/min, with dual-filter and screw-pump variants.
View profile →Lex Technoaid supplies centralized coolant filtration and high-pressure systems for deep hole drilling in India — multi-stage to 5–10 µm, magnetic conveyors and chillers.
View profile →Sumitomo Precision Products supplies the SUMIJET X integrated high-pressure coolant system for deep hole drilling, with Series B/C/E/W filtration options.
View profile →WULI Pump makes the WBP-2240M integrated coolant system for deep hole drilling — 140 bar, VFD pump, drum paper filter at 15/30/50 µm.
View profile →Deep hole drilling removes chips with pressurized coolant, not with drill geometry alone. If pressure or flow drops — or filtration lets particles embed in the bore wall — chips stop evacuating and the hole is scrap. The coolant system is core hardware, not an accessory.
As a rule of thumb, ejector drilling runs about 10–50 bar, BTA about 15–100 bar, gundrilling about 50–150 bar and up, and aerospace finishing 70–120 bar. The exact pressure is sized to your smallest diameter and deepest hole.
Gundrilling oil is typically filtered to 10 µm or better; superalloys (Inconel, Waspaloy) demand 10 µm or below to prevent particle embedding in the bore wall. Above roughly 25 µm, guide pads wear in hours rather than weeks.
